Technology Tools
Technology allows students to explore, create, and challenge themselves in exciting ways. It also allows students and teachers to receive instant feedback and differentiated lesson plans. Please spend a few minutes learning about the program we use below.
Students will typically use their school id/email address to log on to websites. That is first initial, last initial, random 5 digit number that I sent out at the beginning of the school year. If they are logging on to google, it will require their full email address which contains the @my.romoland.net Please message me on Dojo or click the "contact me" button to the right and I will gladly send that information to you :) |
Over the past few years we have seen a big shift towards technology in the classroom. At Boulder Ridge we use a wide variety of tech in the classroom including: -i-Ready (Click: https://clever.com/in/romoland) Students will use their full school email address to sign in to Google. -Raz Kids (Click: https://www.kidsa-z.com/main/Login) *teacher ID: matt79d Your child's password is just the rabbit picture. -AR (Accelerated Reader (Click: hosted5.renlearn.com/272861/ ): We ask that students take weekly AR tests on stories we read in class, library books, and stories read at home. These tests can be taken from home as well. Students will log in with the beginning portion of their school email address (the same log-in information they use to get on their chromebooks) -Wonders Online (Click: https://clever.com/in/romoland) Students will use their full school email address to sign in to Google. -Freckle (Click: https://student.freckle.com/#/login) *Student log in is their first name and last name Example: Matthew McDowell Class code is: hru7pe -Prodigy Math (Click: play.prodigygame.com/ ) Students will use their full school email address to sign in to Google. -Google Classroom, Slides, Draw, etc. -Screencastify (This is a Google Chrome extension) -Quizizz (Click: https://quizizz.com/join) However, nothing can replace teacher-student and student-student interaction, along with real world problem solving skills! |
